Coombs reservoir represents a new concept in mains water booster pumping stations. Our solution was a complete pressure booster set, or pumping station, fitted inside a customised 40 feet steel container, partitioned into mechanical and electrical sections. The installation comprised of seven pumps, electronic flow meter, pressure transducer, multi-cubicle control panel, PLC controls and sophisticated environmental control systems. The novel solution reduced site installation time to days rather than weeks.
