Water Booster Sets supplied to Emirates Tower Hotel & Office Block, Dubai

At the time of writing the Emirates Tower Hotel was the third tallest in the world. Allan Aqua-Systems was involved in the design and manufacture of a total of six water pressure booster sets to replace the existing pumping systems within the complex. The largest of the pump sets was designed to supply cold water services to the hotel at a nominal working pressure of over 30 bar. The water booster sets were of stainless steel construction including all valves, pipework and pressure controls. The lower duty water booster sets used standard vertical multistage pumps whereas the high pressure sets used duplex vertical multistage pumps used in series. Pipework surge was virtually eliminated through the use of adjustable electronic soft start/soft stop devices on all pumps in conjunction with a stainless steel surge vessel.
